My
name is Larry Bush. I was licensed in 1946 and issued the call W5NCD my senior
year in high school. Back in those days you had to build your own transmitter,
antenna and then convert a WW II surplus receiver for the ham bands. Operation was
cw or am phone. No such thing as SSB or FM or Packet or ATV. My favorite mode of
operation these days is Digital Image transfer. I’m usually on 18.162.5 MHz or 14.233
MHz. I own and maintain a two meter repeater dedicated to SSTV. The
repeater is located at Bruceville, Texas midway between Waco and Temple.
Repeater 146.24MHz +, tone 97.4 Hz.
My other
hobbies are photography and bay fishing.

dog SPARKY
